A First Look at Fall

You can tell when fall has arrived at Aevi without anyone having to say it.

There’s a shift as you walk into the boutique. Light shades and airy fabrics have moved over and made room for deeper tones, richer materials, and pieces with a little more structure. The colour palette is what mainly changes the feeling of the racks — plums, burgundies, chocolate browns, and forest greens instantly warm up the space. These may be the shades we naturally gravitate toward this time of year, but the pieces themselves are anything but familiar. This season brings completely new and updated styles that we are excited to integrate into our Aevi lookbook.

The Jacket Is the Outfit

As always, the beginning of a new season makes getting dressed exciting, and we’re especially ready to bring jackets back into rotation. When a jacket is that good, it can be the entire outfit — and we have plenty to choose from. We’ve introduced showstopping furs from Joseph Ribkoff in a range of colours, including leopard print, which we learned last fall is officially a neutral and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. We’re also loving the oxblood bomber from Joseph Ribkoff, which is perfect for walking around the Exchange District while chasing that New York-in-the-fall feeling, as well as the J.C. Sophie chore coat, which taps into the utilitarian style we’ve been seeing everywhere. Throw the latter on with tall boots and a feminine midi skirt for an easy mix of structure and softness. And because the ’70s influence always seems to find its way back into our fall wardrobes, we couldn’t resist this Penny Lane-esque denim coat from Liverpool. To round things out, we’re also excited to welcome a new drop of essential outer layers from everyone’s go-to, Soia & Kyo.

Even Better Bottoms

Another easy way to bring the fall feeling into your wardrobe is through your bottoms. Pistola Denim has arrived, and while a great pair of jeans is a year-round staple, the brand also knows how to make your fall bottoms feel a little more interesting. We’re ready to trade in those lightweight, flowy summer pants for richer fabrics like corduroy and leather. They instantly bring more texture and depth to an outfit while still giving you plenty of ways to style them. Pair them with a simple knit or transitional top from our new collection by Weslynn and suddenly your everyday fall outfit feels a lot more intentional.

Trending for Fall 2026

Other fall arrivals are beginning to fill the boutique, like new pieces from Liverpool and Sanctuary and other familiar favourites. When you look around, it won’t be hard to find your new favourite knit — there are so many rich, versatile shades, with fun textures ranging from fuzzy to chunky. When you look around you will notice that prints are also a must this season, and one that we are paying extra attention to is plaid. It may be a classic, but it’s having a major spotlight moment for fall 2026. We especially love how it’s been worked into this structured blazer, giving the traditional pattern a more polished, updated feel.

Warm Tones, Finishing Touches

Arguably one of the most important parts of a wardrobe shift is the accessories. We’ve brought in leather bags in those quintessential fall shades from The Sak, along with an entire array of new jewelry from Tom + Eva. We love that tortoiseshell always makes its way back into the mix this time of year, but we’re also experimenting with something a little more unexpected: brooches. A statement brooch pinned to the collar of your denim button-down or jacket is an easy way to make an everyday look feel a little more styled.

Come See What’s New

The boutique is changing with the season, and with new arrivals continuing to come in, there’s always going to be something new to see. We’ll be styling each new arrival as it lands across our social channels, through email, and on our website, but there’s still something to be said for coming in and experiencing the fall feeling in person. Come by and see what catches your eye — we’re so excited to see how you make the new arrivals your own over the coming months!
